Condition: Only date given is Nelson Doubleday's 1954 copyright of the illustrations. Pictorial board covers in excellent condition. Blue gilt upper page edges. Binding split at front cover with binding mesh showing, names written on both sides of front illustrated end pages. Jacket shows wear, including tear at upper spine and edge bumping / rubbing, but flaps unclipped with original $1.49 retail price still showing. Still solidly bound, no tears or marks noted on inner pages. Many other copies of this edition available, but few still have the dust jacket.
