Magazine is 88 pages. Moderate soiling and edge chipping to covers. Owner wrote "Save for Quints picture" on top of front cover, but that ink is pretty much faded. The cover feature is about "The New Chicago" spanning pages 31-36 with LOTS of great pics of buildings, Navy Pier, people, all sorts of Chicago nostalgia. Of course, there is an article in this issue (with pictures) about the Dionne Quints. Mailing label still attached to lower front cover. Back cover has full-length vertical crease mark. No other markings, tears, or other issues noted. The original owner was apparently a follower of the Dionne quints as she had collected lots of information about them which show up in other items we have.
BONUS LOT: Inside the issue were several other vintage items pertaining to the Dionne Quintuplets. All are pictured and will be included with this lot. First newspaper clipping with "May 28, 1955" written on top by owner. The back looks like it may have come from a Capper's Weekly, but only "Capp" still shows around the clipped area. Second newspaper clipping shows the wedding picture of Cecile Dionne and Philippe Langlois. On back of clipping the date "1957" still shows, and enough of the edition title to possibly identify it as being from the St. Louis Post Dispatch. The third item is a picture clipped from page 44 of a magazine showing the Montreal wedding of Annette Dionne to Germain Allard. No indication which publication from which this was taken.
