condition. Gray cloth boards with red text blocks on front and spine and gold foil  lettering. Red upper page edges. In the end of Volume 1, beginning at "Notes - Part Six" the lower right corners of pages have creases which look like they were intentionally produced that way to act as sort of a faux "tab" to find those pages. All are very uniform in size and location. Volume 2 has a 2-1/4" section of the front outer edge frayed as pictured. Minor soiling, bumping and rubbing to covers, and minor soiling to page edges. Inner pages in bright, clear, and flat condition with no markings, tears, or flaws. Tightly bound. Wonderful illustrations in both volumes. Volume 1 has a frontispiece portrait of a young Charles Dickens; Volume 2 has the same, but with an older Charles Dickens. Photos illustrate condition of overall volumes.

See Grading Scale page for explanation of grades. Photos of any obvious condition issues will be provided.
