SYNOPSIS:  253 pages. See photos of jacket flap paste-downs for detailed synopsis, both of this book and another book of the era called "Pity the Lover."

Format: Hardback. NO dust jacket, but has pasted-in jacket front and back flaps from original jacket. NOT an EX LIB.

Condition: In Good condition. Jacket flaps have been pasted-down to front and back inside covers.
Front flap was not corner clipped and has $2.00 retail still showing. Tan cloth boards with dark brown lettering. Boards have edge rubbing, chipping, a small gouge on front cover, and soiling. Page edges are soiled. Upper red gilt is faded. Inside front blank flyleaf has "Block and Kuhl Co." stamp, which was a large department store in Peoria, Illinois. Also date "1938" written in pencil on same page. Binding split at page before title page, with binding mesh showing, but volume still tightly bound. Inner pages very age-yellowed, some foxing, tanning, and soiling, as well as creasemarks. This is an extremely scarce title which you will discover when you search the Internet for it. Photos illustrate condition of overall volume.
