SYNOPSIS:  125 pages.

Publisher: D. C. Heath & Co., Publishers. 1902

Format: Hardback. No dust jacket. This book is in French.

Condition:
Very small volume 4-1/2" X 6-1/2"
in Poor condition. Green tweed cloth boards with navy lettering. Owner's names written on inside front blank flyleaf, and dated Jan. 31, 1905, and Feb. 13, 1905. Frontispiece portrait of Moliere facing title page, which has owner's name written above the portrait in pencil. Also pencil note on title page. There are notes written throughout the entire volume, mostly in pencil. There are a few in ink. Pages are heavily age-yellowed and foxed. Pages ix through xvi of the "Introduction" have been ripped away (as pictured). Page 85/86 has a chunk missing from outer edge, resulting in a few words of text missing on 86, but not 85. A nice, rosy pink translucent stain of some sort on pages 68 across from 69, and the text shows through. Looks like a lady may have spilled her rouge or powder on the page. In spite of these flaws, all text (of remaining pages) is legible, and most notes may be erased if desired. Binding split at covers. This particular edition somewhat scarce. Photos illustrate condition.

See Grading Scale page for explanation of grades. Photos of any obvious condition issues will be provided.
