SYNOPSIS:  622 pages. The book concerns sugar plantations of the Mississippi River Delta, and is set against the backdrop of an old family sugar plantation with the d'Alvery family that struggles to keep it viable between the two world wars. The River Road is notable among Keyes' books for the tragic endings of two out of the three marriages chronicled in the novel.

Condition:  Good+. Burgundy boards, gold foil lettering. Edge and corner bumping, rubbing and small tears / gouges. Spine cover fading. Inner pages have no markings, tears, or flaws and flat, bright, and clear, although age-yellowed. 
Right page edges untrimmed, and moderate soiling to page edges. Solidly bound. Photos illustrate condition of overall volume.
