LOT 2 Magazines The Shamrock University of Missouri College of Engineering WW2 Era

Publisher: Members of Engineering College Magazines Associated, St. Louis, MO. The University of Missouri is located in Columbia, MO.

Format: Magazines 8-3/4" X 11-1/2"

Condition: This is a lot of two (2) WW2 era mazines in excellent condition. Minor soiling and bumping, no tears or writing, tightly bound. These were printed monthly, and this lot includes the following months:

February 1942 (24 pages)
March 1942 (28 pages)

Lots of
ads, articles, etc., about the war. On the back cover of the February 1942 issue there is a stereotyped cartoon of black "natives" in the Belgian Congo and a questionable write-up underneath it about the "project" there. The March issue features some of the more "social" activities of the College, such as selection of their Queen Helen Keen. Also a pretty big write-up on the process of Coca-Cola bottling as well as a neat ad for Central Dairy, both of which have a presence in Jefferson City, MO.

Photos illustrate condition of lot.

See Grading Scale page for explanation of grades. Photos of any obvious condition issues will be provided.
