SYNOPSIS: Ever since their first publication in the 1940s, the Betsy-Tacy stories have been loved by each generation of young readers. Betsy, Tacy, and Tib are twelve—old enough to do lots of things...even go downtown on their own. There they see their first horseless carriage, discover the joys of the public library, & see a real play at the Opera House. They even find themselves acting in one! Best of all, they help a lonely new friend feel at home in Deep Valley—the most wonderful place in the world to grow up.

Publisher: Scholastic Book Services edition, First Printing, September 1962.

Format: Softcover, pictorial cover. No dust jacket.

Condition:
ACCEPTABLE. Binding intact. Cover heavily soiled, edge tear on front. Chipping to page edges. Dampstaining on page edges & around outer edges of inner pages which does not affect legibility, as shown in photo. Pages very age-yellowed. Some edge tears, but still intact. No markings noted. Though heavy wear to this obviously much-loved &  much-read little volume, all pages intact and all text 100% legible, making it a good reading copy.

See Grading Scale page for explanation of grades. Photos of any obvious condition issues will be provided.
