Origin: Acme News Pictures, Inc., New York.

Size & Format: 8 X 10 glossy black & white with associated news agency text attached to back.

Condition: In excellent condition. News agency text document attached to back as paste-down very yellowed with age and chipped, but still pretty much explains content of photo and is dated 5/18/37. Also publisher of photo identified by rubber stamp on back as "Acme News Pictures, Inc." of New York City. I have had this for many years and was purchased at an estate sale with a lot of press photos and movie / tv studio photos. 

This story is deeply disturbing and sad, and if you Google Helen Tiernan you can read the horrific way in which she decided to get rid of her two very small children because they were "in the way" of her new boyfriend.
