SOLD2022 - The Pony Who Couldn't Say Neigh by Marjory Schwalje, Illustrated by Stephen Thomas 1964 Whitman Softcover

SYNOPSIS: An adorable Whitman Tell-a-Tale about a little pony who is different from the others because he is unable to "neigh" like the others. A very small book with a very large lesson. The illustrations are adorable, and reminiscent of a farm during the period the book was written, early 1960's.

Publisher: Whitman, Merrigold Press, 1964. Very small in size and weight. Publisher's price printed on front cover: 49 cents.

Format: Soft cover. No dust jacket.

Condition: Good. Binding intact, all pages present, no tears.
Creasing and soiling to soft cover. Child's large scribble in ink on front title page. Four pages have transparent scotch tape on them, no indication of torn pages which needed taped together, but apparently an indication of a child who like to play with scotch tape. All text and illustrations still visible, obviously, since the tape was the "transparent" kind.

See
Grading Scale page for explanation of grades. Photos of any obvious condition issues will be provided.
