SYNOPSIS:  95 pages. Full colour illustrated front board of Mushmen bringing furnishings to their Headquarters under an oak tree. Five Mushmen, related to elves and such, push themselves up from Down There to see if they can survive Up Here, set up headquarters under an oak tree, and live their pioneer existence, avoiding That Cat and keeping dry so they won't melt.

Publisher: Dodd, Mead  Company, New York. Possible 1st edition.

Format: Hardback with dust jacket and mylar overwrap. 1968. 6.75" x 8.6", identical front board cover and jacket design. EX LIB.

Condition: Associated ex lib markings, stampings, and card jacket remainder.Front jacket flap was clipped at lower corner, but upper corner remains unclilpped with original $3.50 retail price showing. Jacket and volume graded in acceptable condition due to being EX LIB, but all inner pages remain intact, no tears, volume is tightly bound, and all text is 100% legible. Somewhat scarce in this format. Photos illustrate condition.
